Madrasah: Jurnal Pendidikan Madrasah” is a scholarly journal that serves as an academic platform for the study and development of Islamic education at the primary and secondary levels, particularly within madrasah and school settings (SD/MI, SMP/MTs, and SMA/MA). This journal aims to strengthen academic understanding of the dynamics of madrasah education development in the context of educational policy, teaching practices, and educational innovation in the contemporary era.

Since its establishment, the journal has been directed toward becoming a scholarly publication platform that highlights various strategic issues in Islamic education, particularly those related to improving the quality, relevance, and competitiveness of madrasah institutions amid social and technological changes.

The scope of the journal encompasses various essential dimensions of madrasah and school education, including the development, implementation, evaluation, and innovation of curricula oriented toward improving learning quality and strengthening students’ character. In addition, the journal also focuses on studies of effective teaching methods, including the application of innovative and technology-based instructional strategies.

The journal also accommodates studies on contemporary challenges faced by madrasahs, including social, economic, cultural, and technological dimensions that influence educational processes. Furthermore, Islamic education studies constitute a central focus, particularly in relation to the integration of Islamic values within teaching and learning processes in madrasahs and schools.

Moreover, the journal places significant attention on educational leadership and management, including institutional governance, educational leadership, quality assurance, and efforts to enhance the effectiveness of madrasah educational institutions.

With this scope, “Madrasah: Journal of Madrasah Education” is expected to become a credible scholarly reference and an academic space that encourages the production of innovative research by researchers, educators, and practitioners in education, both within madrasah and general school contexts, in order to contribute to the development, relevance, and advancement of the education system in Indonesia.
